All Worcester Public Library branches offer a variety of computer workstations to help with your computing needs.
Main Library
Offers access to the Library's online catalog, subscription databases, and other Library online resources.
Reserved PCs:
- Offer Internet access and common desktop applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.) as well as online databases. These machines allow you to use a USB flash drive for saving personal documents. Reserved PCs require a valid Worcester Public Library card to reserve a session. Reserved sessions are one hour long with unlimited sessions. Adult Reserved PCs are for Adults 18+ only.
Express PCs:
- Offer 15 minutes of use with Internet access and does not require a Library card for access. Express PCs are for adult use only.
Teens' PCs:
- Reserved PCs in the Teen Room are reserved for teens ages 13-17 only (see Reserved PCs).
Children's PCs:
- Reserved PCs in Children’s Room can be reserved for children 12 and younger (see Reserved PCs).
- Early Literacy computers offer games and educational software for children. No Library card is needed for access.
Stand-alone PCs:
- Genealogy computers (3rd floor). No Library card is needed for access; users must obtain an access ticket from the 3rd floor desk.
- Grant Resource computer (3rd floor). No Library card is needed for access; users must obtain an access ticket from the 3rd floor desk.
- Career computers (2nd floor) can be used for resume building and job searching. Users must sign in at 2nd floor desk for access.
- Scanning computer (2nd floor). No Library card is needed for access. Users must sign in at 2nd floor desk for access.
Frances Perkins Branch Library
