January Program Highlights

This month you won't want to miss the Snowflake Workshop on Friday, January 5 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Let’s make some snowflakes! Learn to make 3D snowflakes, sun catcher snowflakes and more! Suggested for children 4 and up with a caregiver. 

We'll aslo be hosting Free Play Exploration: Winter Experiments on Friday, January 12 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Free Play Exploration: Winter experiments – Bring your little scientist to explore through play! We’ll have ice based experiments. Suggested for ages 2 – 5 with a caregiver.

You won't want to miss a Hot Cocoa Party on Friday, January 19 from 4 to 5 p.m. Come and make your own hot chocolate! Put in your favorite flavors and favorite toppings; make it as unique as you are. Stay and sip your perfect drink while you make a special craft to take home. All ages welcome!

This month we will have Cinema at the Library: My Little Pony: The Movie on Thursday, January 25 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Come watch on our big screen! In the movie, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Rarity embark on an epic journey to save Ponyville from a dark force. Rated PG. This program is suggested for children with a caregiver.

Do you like STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)? Be sure to swing by for Does it Float? on Friday, January 26 from 4 to 5 p.m. What makes something float? Is it the shape, the weight, what it is made of? Let’s find out! We’ll use household materials to create and test boats. Suggested for ages 5 and up with a caregiver.
