Study Rooms

Worcester Public Library has two Study Rooms for use by a maximum of six people. Located on the Library's third floor in the Periodicals area, these rooms are available on a first come basis. The Study Rooms are for quiet discussion, tutoring and study. Card game playing is not allowed.

  • One member of the group should sign in at the Periodicals Desk, using their library card number and name. Users must sign-out when their time is up.
  • Users are expected to leave the room in good condition. The person signing in is responsible for the condition of the room.
  • Users are expected to abide by the Library's "Patron Behavior Policy" and will be asked to leave the study rooms if they fail to comply with these rules.
  • Rooms may be used for one hour, with the possibility of additional hours, if no one else is waiting.
  • Rooms cannot be reserved in advance.
  • Wi-fi is available.
