Get Connected with a Chromebook from the Worcester Public Library

The Worcester Public Library (WPL) is expanding access to technology through a new Chromebook lending program, made possible by the Massachusetts Broadband Institute’s Connected & Online Program. This initiative is designed to help bridge the digital divide by providing community members with reliable devices for everyday use.

What is the Chromebook Lending Program?

WPL is offering eligible applicants the opportunity to receive a long-term loan of a Chromebook. These devices can be used for a wide range of needs, including:

  • Schoolwork and online learning
  • Job searching and career development
  • Accessing telehealth services
  • Staying connected with family and community

This program is part of a broader effort to ensure that everyone in Worcester has access to the tools they need to succeed in today’s digital world.

Who Can Apply?

You are eligible to apply if you:

• Are a Worcester resident, or
• Are a student attending a college or university in Worcester

Applicants must also have an active Worcester Public Library card (you can sign up anytime).
