Artists of all ages are invited to enter WPL’s Bookmark Design Contest!

Rules:
- Open to all Worcester Public Library cardholders. Need a library card? Visit any library location or sign up here.
- All designs must be completed using the template on the back or downloaded from our website: mywpl.org/article/bookmark-design-contest.
- Artwork can include computer generated or digital photographic submissions or paper submissions using colored pencil, pen, paint, markers, etc. Artwork containing AI generated images will not be considered.
- Digital entries should be submitted with a resolution of 300 dpi or higher for printing purposes. Digital version final bookmark size 2.5 x 8.5 inches.
- All artwork must be original, previously unpublished, and free of copyright restrictions.
- Both horizontal and vertical designs will be considered.
- Upon submission, entrants grant the Worcester Public Library all rights to the artwork and consent that all artwork may be displayed and/or reproduced without limitation and without compensation.
- Entries must be accompanied by a signed entry form.
- Limit one (1) entry per person. Do not include your name in artwork.
- Three finalists per category will be selected by a committee, and announced on October 10, 2025. Public voting will begin at that time, and end on October 31, 2025 with winners to be announced after votes are compiled.
- ENTRIES MUST BE SUBMITTED AND RECEIVED BETWEEN SEPTEMBER 1 - SEPTEMBER 30, 2025.
Judging & Prizes:
Entry deadline: Sept. 30, 2025
Prizes will be awarded to:
1 Kid (0-7)
1 Tween (8-12)
1 Teen (13 - 17)
1 Adult (18 and over)
$50 gift card prize to local bookstore for winners in each category
